Part 1: Bohol-Cebu trip (day 1 & 2)

The moment the plane from Coron, Palawan landed at NAIA 3, all I could ever think of was "BOHOL pare, you're next!"

And so the adventure of Dora of Tambo Kulit continues. . .

DAY 1 - Danao Adventure Park

There was rain when we left Manila, but I was confident that God will not let Falcon or any low freakin' pressure area ruin this trip I had in mind every single day for several months. Ang lakas ko kay God! :)

We arrived at Cebu around 8AM. We were like "Hello Cebu, Bye Cebu! Later teh!" We waited at Pier 1 for the MV Starcraft to bring us to Danao, Bohol. The ferry portion of our adventure was my least favorite. I was okay with the ride during the first 20 minutes. Then the hilo and the machuka-chuka feeling caught up with me. Omaygas! Breathe in, breathe out, HAPPY THOUGHTS teh. HAPPY THOUGHTS. Macho guys... macho gwapo guys... macho gwapo mabango super hot guyzzzz.... When i woke up after 20 minutes, we were in Danao. :)

Kuya Bernard, our driver and tour guide for this trip was there waiting for us. After having our lunch, he then drove us to Danao Adventure Park! Yipee!

Danao Adventure Park offers various activities - from ziplining to caving to rapelling, and a lot others. http://www.eatdanao.com/ I was there to try the PLUNGE.

Carla and I pinky-swore that we won't leave that place without trying this. I felt like breaking that pinky-promise is as unforgivable as committing murder or adultery! I simply couldn't NOT do it. Truth is, with the pinky promise, Carla mentioned something about dying virgins if we back out. Okay then, akina yang mga tali at helmet na yan at ako na mauna. :D We even convinced Nani to do it!

That was such a fun and liberating experience. I apologize for the makabasag-eardrum na pagtili. I felt like teaming up with Marc Nelson sa Sports Unlimited after doing it. Chosera.com!

All six of us tried the Suislide afterwards. We did it by pairs. Nani and I partnered on this one.

Also, got to try Wall Climbing, which I realized, was not as easy as it looked. While I was stepping from one peanut-sized (let's use this term para kunwari ang galing ko) rock and my small hands trying to hold onto another as best as I could, I was like, "Pa-picture naman o! Bago pa ako malaglaaaaaag!" Blagadoog! I finished the climb after don't-ask-how-many-minutes-and-how-many-falls. I finished it and that's all that matters! ;p

After the adventures at Danao, we were back on the road and traveled for almost 2 hours to Tagbilaran City. Kepyas was my van-buddy for this trip. We just talked away non-stop and never slept a wink! I hate missing a picturesque view when I'm on vacation, so does she. :)

After having our dinner at the mall and buying all the stuff we might need for our stay in Bohol (that includes vodka), we then headed to Cherry's @ Home Too Inland Resort. http://cherryshome.com/room-rates/ The night is still too young for us. I was tired from all the climbing and travelling all day but they have a pool, so I jumped and swam with Michy and Keps! They also have wifi in there. Us girls played Bullshit later that night.

DAY 2: Bohol Land Tour

Started our day at 7:30 in the morning. There are so many places in Bohol to visit and explore. Wore the most comfortable clothes I packed. I thought ahead of the jump shots, long walks and steps we were to do. :)

Panglao Watch Tower

Shell Museum

I was so entertained by the tour guides at Hinagdanan Cave. We were all struggling with the lighting of our digital cameras, not being able to take good photos inside the cave. But the guides, they know how to manipulate the settings in all kinds of cameras. "Okay ma'ams pose ala-Ms.Earth, closer closer! Wan tu tree, ismayl ma'am, perfek! Pan-tas-tik! Ispektacularr!" His energy was contagious.

Hinagdanan Cave

We also visited some of Bohol's old and historical churches. Those of us who were wearing too-short shorts and sleeveless dress had to wrap cloth before entering the church. Sorry God, wrong attire.

Dauis Church
Baclayon Church

How could we also refuse an invitation from Datu Sikatuna to visit the site where he sealed his BFF-ship with Miguel Lopez de Legazpi. I politely said "No, thanks" when they offered us a glass of wine with their blood. "Pass muna tsong!" :D

Sandugo Blood Compact site

We also said Hello to the animals which Bohol is best known for - Tarsiers! Sorry lang sa pambubulabog friends. Di magkatulad oras ng shift natin eh. :)

I have to commend Carla and Keps's bravery in these photos. Couldn't and wouldn't ever do this unless I'm paid a million bucks. aaaack! Sige, kayo na. Kayo na talaga!!

You know how you have always wished to experience a Caribbean Cruise?! Well, low budget tayo kaya Loboc River Cruise muna. It was a cuuuute experience, very relaxing. Lafangga while sailing and while being serenaded by Manong John Mayer. I enjoyed it!

We also stopped for a little while and cam-whored at Bohol's Man-made Forest. Feeling ko that was where they shot Bella's pag-iinarte in the woods sa Twilight saga, that when a black car passed by, nataranta ako magpa-picture. Kunware si Edward!

What's a trip to Bohol without stopping by atop a high spot in Carmen for a good view of the Chocolate Hills. Total number of hills = 1000 something!! I forgot. But did you know that the hills are not made of chocolate, but actually of limestone? Ba ha bet you didn't! Not chocolate, man! :))))

Last three spots we visited that day were the Butterfly Sanctuary, the Hanging Bridge in Sevilla and a souvenir shop for pasalubongs!

We had dinner later that night at this restaurant in Alona Beach where service is bad, food okay but expensive. Took again a dip in the pool when we went back to Cherry's. Long fun day! :)
