Part 2: Bohol-Cebu trip (day 3)

My kwento of Day 3 of our Bohol-Cebu adventure, after 47 years and 11 months! Hehe! It was a long beautiful day that even after more than 2 months, I still wanna remember and share it. :)

DAY 3

BOHOL

We were up as early as 4:30AM. We have a meeting with the dolphins, you know! And they requested to have it as early as 6AM in the middle of the vast sea of Bohol. Sailing and searching for these friends felt like an eternity to me, that I almost kind of expected that they will not show up. Carla said she had some friends who went to Bohol several months before us and whose pwets were not lucky to see the dolphins. I guess we have lucky pwets! There they were, swimming so majestically close to our boats. I tell you, it feels amazing every time their bods will come out of the water a little (they don't jump nga lang like in Ocean Adventure. hehe). They are beautiful. We were screaming like nagkikilitiang little girls. We looked at other tourists in their boats watching the dolphins too and they were just quietly taking all the beauty in. Kami, tili like there's no tomorrow! Keberloo! Wapakels sa mga lalaugan! :D

When we ran out of dolphins to watch, we proceeded to Balicasag Island to snorkel! It was kinda hard to take snorkeling by heart because the waves then were crazy. They were tiring that I wanted to tell them "Wait guys, we aren't surfing here you know! Ang chacharot niyo!" Pero naisip ko din na, Ay okey, waves to, baka di ako ma-gets. Baliw lang!

Tired from fighting the waves, we moved on to Virgin Island. Konting photoshoot sa sandbar there and when we got our perfect pa-tweetums-na-babe-sa-beach-na-pang-Facebook-profile-pic shot, we sailed back to Alona, then walked back to our hotel, several shades negra-er! Di pa rin kami nakuntento sa swimming, babad pa din sa pool with Michy and Keps afterwards.

Last stop of our adventure in Bohol was in Bohol Bee Farm. We had malunggay ice cream which tastes really good, did not taste like malunggay at all, then pasyal-pasyal around the place. We had to skip the bee tour because we had to catch the 2:30PM SuperCat to Cebu. We'll ask na lang Jollibee kung paano ang ginagawa sa mga bubuyogz. Okay, kick me for that lame joke, I deserve it!

THANK GOD, really. SuperCat did not make me have that machuka-chuka feeling. Smooth sailing, I didn't have to think of macho gwapo mabango guys!!

CEBU

After 2 hours, we were back in Cebu. Here, we were on our own, no arrangements made - hotel or van. Anyways, we only had a couple of hours to spare, we were leaving for Manila at 4am. :(

We took a room for 2 at Cebu Guest House. I was able to convince the receptionist that we only need the room for our bags while we go around the city. We got the room for 990 only! Nye nye nye nye nye. ;p

Commuting in Cebu is as easy as wan tu tri. Their jeepneys are labeled in alpha-numeric, corresponding to a specific route, walang side trips here and there. Our first stop is at Cebu Metropolitan Church. Someone told me that you have to go visit the Sto. Nino Church when in Cebu, so we did. Then, the Magellan's Cross.

We went to Taboan afterwards to buy our pasalubongs for loved-ones at home - otap, more peanut kisses and danggit!! After staying for several minutes in a street that thrives of danggit, pusit and dilis, we hailed a cab to take us to Osmena Circle for dinner. When we were all seated inside the cab, manong driver decided to be brutally honest and told us "Mga ma'am, pwede po bang pakibaba ang bintana, ang baho po kase." with his nose so wrinkled pa! Haha! That's when we realized every part of us reeked of danggit. Kahit gaano ka ka-cute pero kung ganoon ka naman ka-baho, who are you to hold your head up high? It was fun, anyways. ;p

The baklitas were a bit disappointed when we couldn't find a place where they could have a try of the legendary Lechon Cebu. But manong driver pointed us to Larsian which I think is better than a lechon place. There was isaw baboy and isaw manok everywhere! I thought I died and reached heaven. There was usok-usok noh! You find a table, choose all the goods you like - hotdogs, barbeque, balun-balunan, isaw, isaw, isaw, isaw, have Ate grill them to perfection, put on that transparent guantes (no kubyertos here!) and eat your heart out. I think I had 4 puso and countless isaws in my stomach, they could be mistaken for my own intestines! ;p

We went to the mall to change our tops and spray perfume to mask the danggit smell. Kahit Ambi Pur siguro papatusin ko mawala lang ang amoy. Then off to Crown Regency we go for the Sky Experience Adventure. We first tried the Edge Coaster. Nani and I were partners again. We panicked when our seats were tilted to the edge. We thought after Plunge in Bohol, all rides will be just chicken to us! That one wasn't. "Ayoko na, shet!" "Wag mong gagalawin yang controls, baka lalo tayo ma-tilt!" "Bakit parang tayo lang sumisigaw? Nakakatakot naman talaga diba?!!" We were just tilted the whole time. :D

We then lined up for so long for the Sky Walk experience. Keribells lang, patweetums walk lang around and on top of the hotel with a good view of the whole of Cebu. We then headed back to Cebu Guest House, to clean up, pack and take some rest before our 4AM flight.

Lasing sa antok while waiting in the airport and in the plane back to Manila. Wala na ko namalayan. Said our goodbyes, thank-yous for a wonderful trip before us girls went home, to our beds. On our way home to Cavite, I discovered one of my friend Allen's many talents. She'll hate me for posting these but it's my joy! Labyu gerla! :p

I saw my shirt that stinks so bad while I was unpacking, smiled and said to myself, "What a fun trip. Thank You Lord."
